Classically trained at the Tropicana Club, Casa de la Musica and Casa de la Trova in Cuba, Tony Danger is a leading proponent of Cuban Son, Bolero, Cha cha cha, Salsa and Latin Jazz. He has over 26 years of professional experience as a lead singer and musician, also appearing regularly on Cuban National Television and at many internationally renowned festivals, in Cuba.
When Chavez came to see Castro in 2008, it was a song that Tony was singing about Venezuela which was featured as background to the TV footage. When the musicians from Buena Vista Social Club want to see some music, it is Tony that they watch as you can see from the YouTube footage linked to this site of Tony singing in Santiago with Eliades Ochoa in the audience.
